As it's NaNoWriMo, I thought I'd try and carve out some time for some proper Khamsin wordage.
I'm not technically participating in National Novel Writing Month as there's no way I can commit to 3,000 words a day - the humbler target of 1,000 is proving to be ludicrously difficult. I know where I want to story to be by the end of the month, though, and I know how to get there. I've named my efforts NaNoWrongMo because, hell, it's Ecko's story and he's aaaaaall about fucking shit up.
Thus far, ten days in, my wordcount hovers just short of 4,000 - even less than I wanted, but a new chapter in the bag for the first time since the spring.
Today however, my son has put me to shame.
Wordcount scores: -
Danacea: 3982.
ChaosCub: 1.
The word was 'cat' and he wrote it all by himself.
My son is fantastic.
