When I asked david_devereux  to come in to Forbidden Planet London for a stock signing, I hadn't quite bargained on the result.

Seems Dave has distinct Bagpuss tendencies - he comes in for a signing, all his friends come in for a signing too.

Thus I've found myself hosting a book-buffet-party without quite knowing how it came about... just how much wine did I drink over the holidays?

Anyway - a quick post here in anticipation of the event going live on both the FP signing page and through my Upcoming account: on Thursday 22nd January, starting at 5:00pm, Forbidden Planet will be hosting some kind of wacky miniCon with the following authors: -

I'm all excited about this - I like the idea of removing the barriers, of shifting the tables to one side and letting the authors mix it up with their fans. It's a chance for readers of one to find books from another, for an unholy-science-fiction-cross-pollination that will bring new material - and new readers - to all.
